25-year-old Corinna Siebenhandl from Neukirchen has fulfilled a long-held dream. Since the age of 15, the young woman has been talking about a journey that is now finally becoming a reality. In order to make her wish come true, she not only quit her job, but also gave up her apartment. Her backpack, which weighs over twelve kilograms, is packed and ready for the adventure of a lifetime.
“I can hardly wait to discover new countries and get to know other cultures,” she says enthusiastically. An important utensil for the trip is her camera, which she wants to use not only as a souvenir but also as a tool for her creativity. Corinna plans to travel for an indefinite period of time - and it's this uncertainty that makes things exciting. The freedom of travel and the ability to explore the world at their own pace are the driving forces for them.
The step into the unknown
The decision to leave everything behind was certainly not easy. Some would say it takes courage to leave your familiar surroundings, but Corinna has a knack for living in the moment. “I don’t want to look back in a few years and wonder what if,” said the globetrotting traveler. In addition to new experiences, she is particularly looking forward to meeting people from all over the world.
