Vernissage of the annual exhibition: Art fireworks in Starnberg!

On Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, the Starnberg Art Association's annual exhibition 2025 opens its doors in the Schlossberghalle. The vernissage will take place at 7:00 p.m., at which Mayor Patrick Janik and Second Mayor Angelika Kammerl will speak. The opening is accompanied by the musical sounds of the SaxSoul Sisters, Julia and Susanne Pauli. This event promises to be a treat not only for the eyes, but also for the ears.

Visitors can expect an extensive program that offers a rich overview of current artistic positions with over 60 artists represented. Of course, the exhibition also includes a guest artist: Stephanie Marie Roos, who attracts special attention with her ceramic figures. In addition to the artworks, guests will have the opportunity to take part in various workshops and a film evening about Peggy Guggenheim. A matinée concert by the Starnberg Music School rounds off the cultural offering.

Open doors and creative offers

The exhibition can be visited daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. until Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. If you arrive by car, you can use the Schlossberghalle's underground car park, which has an elevator that leads directly to the hall entrance.

The art association offers a series of workshops for young art enthusiasts. On Thursday, November 6th, children will have the opportunity to be creative from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Further workshops are Friday, November 7th (free painting) and Saturday, November 8th (watercolor), where there is a small fee and registration is required.

Interactive art and audience award

An exciting highlight is determining the audience award. Visitors can vote to decide who they think has made the best contribution. As a reward, two cinema tickets will be raffled off among the participants. This underlines the interactive character of the event, which, in addition to the exhibition, also offers space for dialogue and participation.

Art associations like the Starnberger not only promote the local art scene, but also offer a network for artists and art enthusiasts that thrives on direct interaction with one another. They are places where people actively participate in cultural education and where closeness between artists and the audience is experienced. This network aims to introduce new groups of visitors to the visual arts and offers numerous opportunities to get involved in the artistic processes, as kunstvereine.de describes.

For anyone who is interested in art and would like to experience the creative atmosphere of the exhibition, the annual exhibition of the Starnberg Art Association is an absolute must. Further information about the event and many other activities of the art association can be found on the official website. Take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of contemporary art and perhaps ignite the creative spark yourself!
