A 46-year-old man was driving his Renault Scenic Megane in the right lane towards Waidhaus when the situation became dramatically worse. According to reports from the Nürnberger Nachrichten, he was overtaking a truck when an unknown driver of a gray VW Passat CC violently passed him.
The VW driver suddenly pulled into the middle lane in front of the Renault and braked abruptly. In order to avoid a rear-end collision, the driver of the Renault had to swerve to the right and brake sharply. A short time later, the Passat driver moved back to the right lane and pushed the Renault towards the shoulder. This led to a collision between the VW and the Renault, affecting the right rear of the Passat and the left front of the French car. After the incident, the person who caused the accident fled without stopping. The traffic police in Feucht have already launched a search, but this was still unsuccessful.
