Start-ups from students: Innovation in the founder center Rottal-Inn!

Four teams deal with the development of their ideas for a year and created financial plans, logos and marketing strategies.

Bayern secured first place in the federal comparison with 2.3 billion euros in start-ups, which underlines the importance of the start-up culture in the region. This spirit is actively promoted in the entrepreneurial gymnasium , which has existed since 2006. The start-up center itself, which was launched in 2020, offers coworking jobs, calm offices and creative rooms that create an ideal environment for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The teams presented varied business ideas, which ranged from handmade cookies to healthy machines. Here is an overview of the projects presented:

  • "bisou": handmade cookies and donuts.
  • "Green Bite": machines with healthy meals at rest areas.
  • "Deinkeks": personalizable cookies.
  • "Jobhub": mediation of holiday jobs and short -term help in the neighborhood.

With strong presentations and clear concepts, the founding teams convinced the jury, which included representatives of IHK, Sparkasse, Mobimedia AG and the Hans-Lindner Foundation. Each group had five minutes to pitch their idea. Ultimately, the “Jobhub” team, which was able to win the competition, made the leap into the final.

Additional input received the participants through specialist lectures. Maximilian Leonhart, founder of "Rebricker", gave valuable tips on how to adapt ideas to current market questions. Harald Wagner from Baystartup explained to the young talents what investors pay attention to in a pitch. Such events are not only important for individual development, but also for strengthening the founding spirit in the region.

The event was strongly supported by the program in Bavaria and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, which accompanied the ambitious founder in their project. Bavaria innovative also offers comprehensive support programs that are available for start-ups and young companies to promote the implementation of projects quickly and efficiently.

Martin Spengler, network manager at Greg Rottal-Inn, emphasized the long-term importance of such competitions for the development of the region. His words aptly summarize the mood: "Here the foundation stone for future start -ups is laid." With this in mind, we can be excited to see how the creative ideas of the young population will further enrich our economic environment in the coming years.
