Donations of blood: 32 heroes from Rottal-Inn honored-saving life counts!

Rottal-Inn, Deutschland - Yesterday was a special day for the BRK district association Rottal-Inn. In a warm ceremony, 32 long -time blood donors were honored for their tireless efforts. The event took place in the apprenticeship hall of the district office, and among the congratulations, the district administrator and BRK district association chairman Michael Fahmüller, district manager Andreas Rehrl and district lovers Daniel Jetzlsperger.

Michael Fahmüller emphasized the immense importance of the blood donation during his speech. Around 2,000 blood donations are needed in Bavaria every day to maintain medical care. Each individual donation of blood can even save up to three lives. This impressive number shows how valuable and indispensable the donors are for the community.

The honored had made between 75 and 175 blood donations. Below were:

• 13 people for 75 donations
• 7 people for 100 donations
• 7 people for 125 donations
• 2 people for 150 donations
• 3 people for 175 donations

of the total of 32 honored 17 personally took part in the celebration. One of the people who were awarded were Martin Brunner (125), Elisabeth Dadlhuber (100), and Josef Girgnhuber (175) - a real reason to celebrate for everyone who has been committed to the good cause for decades.

After the honors, there was a pleasant atmosphere with a cozy get -together. The BRK group from Triftern had prepared a Bavarian menu that knew how to round off the evening. "It is nice to see how so many people stand up for others," commented Andreas Rehrl and expressed his thanks to all blood donors.
