HGTV star Jasmine Roth: Why she chose Park City as her new home

Jasmine Roth, the popular HGTV host, has turned her back on her life in Southern California and now lives with her family in Park City, Utah. This move, which she announced in June 2024, came at a time of reorientation, especially after the early birth of her second child on September 30, 2024. The slow lifestyle in Utah has been found very beneficial by Roth and her family and supports the new life priorities reports The List.

Roth describes Park City as her family’s “happy place.” This emotional connection is not new; the couple married there in 2013 and purchased a holiday apartment in 2015. The decision to stay permanently was made while she was planning and building her new home. Interestingly, Roth also uses her home as a creative playground to try out new design ideas that adapt to the Utah environment reveals Deseret.

A new phase of life in Utah

The move from California to Utah was an exciting change for Roth, not only personally but also professionally. Her well-known “California Casual Style” doesn’t quite apply the same way here, but that doesn’t stop her from developing her design skills. As she builds a new team of contractors and looks for clients in Utah, the latest season of her popular renovation show "Help! I Wrecked My House" shines a spotlight on the beauty of Utah said Deseret.

Current episodes of her show air Wednesdays on HGTV and are available to stream on HBO Max the following day. Roth also shared some of her favorite restaurants in Park City. These include Yuki Yama Sushi, a popular spot for a fine evening, as well as the High West Saloon, where she and her husband Brett once celebrated their wedding. Other popular stops include Nelson Cottage and Five5eeds for a delicious breakfast adds The List.

The future of HGTV

There are exciting developments in the current HGTV landscape. The networks recently announced their plans for show renewals in 2025. Highlights include the return of “Rock the Block” with Season 6, which will be on screens in early 2025, and the continuation of other popular formats such as “Down Home Fab” and “Fixer to Fabulous”. Roth's show remains an integral part of the HGTV family, showcasing not only her renovation skills but also the stunning Utah setting says Entertainment Now.

The decision to move to Utah is not only a personal, but also a creative enrichment for Roth's professional career. Her new phase of life promises to be fruitful for both her family and her career.
