Regensburg celebrates: Citizens’ Festival Together!” promises fun for everyone!

The countdown has begun: From June 20th to 22nd, 2025, Regensburg's old town and Stadtamhof will be transformed into a pulsating festival area. Under the motto “Together!” the community festival will attract numerous visitors. Whether music, art or theater – the program promises a colorful experience for young and old. How Central Bavarian reports, the opening will be celebrated on June 20th at 6 p.m. by Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer on Cathedral Square.

The evening before, June 19th, there will be a “warm-up” on the Jahn Island with free entry and a musical evening that mixes Bavarian and Scottish sounds. This first highlight is a welcome foretaste of a festival that will showcase not only local but also international talent. The Regensburg dance group from Budavár will be featured, as will the rock band Southern Ways from Tempe, Arizona.

The twin cities of Pilsen and Brixen present themselves with their own stands and enrich the festival weekend with guest performances on various stages.
