Starting signal for KUS sustainability scouts: Register now and get started!
A new round of climate protection is just around the corner! The eagerly awaited “KUS Sustainability Scouts” qualification program will begin in spring 2026. Like that Pfaffenhofen district informs, this program is carried out by the municipal company Structural Development District Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm (KUS) in collaboration with the Ingolstadt University of Technology (THI) and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU). The goal? Strengthening sustainability skills in local companies and empowering young people to take ecological, economic and social responsibility.
A total of 20 trainees from the district have the chance to take part in this exciting initiative. As part of various workshops, self-learning phases and coaching elements, topics such as sustainability, CSR management and operational implementation are addressed. Participants can acquire practical knowledge and develop implementable projects, which not only strengthens their sense of responsibility but also promotes loyalty to the company.
Program schedule and information
The program begins with an introductory meeting in February 2026, followed by three all-day workshops, which take place on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The crowning achievement will be celebrated on July 1, 2026 with a certificate awarding ceremony. In order to get an initial overview, training companies are invited to an online information event that will take place on November 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. via Zoom. The contents, goals and processes of the program are presented here and open questions are answered.
