Over 50 water rescue activists dared to venture into the cold waters of the Pegnitz at this year's St. Nicholas Swim in Hersbruck. The event, which took place on December 7, 2025, attracted participants from across the Nuremberg region. Although these brave swimmers were well prepared, they had the cold water temperatures in the middle of winter under control. Most of them wore wetsuits to protect themselves against the cold.
