Dramatic accident in Aspertshofen: SUV driver injured!
A traffic accident occurred on Thursday evening, July 17, 2025, around 6 p.m., in the center of the Aspertshofen district of Kirchensittenbach. As inFranken.de reports, a 37-year-old driver wanted to turn around in his pickup truck, but overlooked a female SUV driver who was behind him. The collision was inevitable.
Fortunately, the SUV driver was only slightly injured. However, the accident resulted in significant damage to both vehicles. The van in particular was so badly damaged that it was no longer drivable and had to be towed away. The Aspertshofen fire brigade came to the scene to regulate traffic and clean the road from traces of the accident.
Police investigations
The police have already started investigating the accident. As stated in another report from n-land.de, it is common practice in the Nürnberger Land district for police and fire departments to be on call around the clock. Here too, the officers quickly took action to clarify the incident. The amount of material damage is still unknown, as are possible consequences for whoever caused the accident.
