Neu-Ulm, Deutschland - The city of Neu-Ulm straps itself, because the city cycling is just around the corner! From July 13th to August 2, 2025, cyclists pedal to set a sign of climate protection and CO2-neutral mobility together. As ulm-news.de, everyone who lives in Neu-Ulm can work or go to school or Study, participate in a university. The official team "Stadt Neu-Ulm-employees and city council" will start under the captain of Mayor Katrin Albsteiger.

Last year there were 1098 cycling in 38 teams that had a strong pedal and trampled 195,747 kilometers together. Individual registrations and team participations are also possible this year. If you decide to participate in a team, you need at least two participants. An additional highlight: If you start with a single team, you will be moved to the open team after the wheel period, you should not be active.

The registration is easily done online via the city cycling website. The participants can enter their kilometers traveled in a wheel calendar or use the practical app. Telephone or written reports to the city administration are also acceptable. The results of both competitions are published on the city cycling website-however, they are not individually visible. Cycles are also welcome everywhere in Neu-Ulm and even outside the city limits, just not parallel to other bike competitions.

• The participants are waiting for prices for the most bicycle -active municipal parliaments and municipalities as well as awards for the most hardworking cyclists and teams.
• Special recognition receives the largest, most active team and the smallest team with the most kilometers on average.

But not only Neu-Ulm is active, the entire district of Neu-Ulm also participates in the campaign! Here it is cycled from June 22nd to August 1st, whereby the registration possibly can also be found on the city cycling side. Here, too, the conditions of participation are the same, and there is the possibility to start your own teams or join existing ones, such as Landkreis-nu.de.

Special actions during city cycling

A special delicacy during the city bike is the photo competition #landkreismadelt. The participants are invited to submit their best cycling photos. The ten best pictures receive a city voucher worth 20 euros from a jury! A award ceremony is also waiting for the most successful cyclists, teams and schools by district administrator Eva.

After the municipalities register in advance, the activation follows after the registration has been checked.
