Defeat for SV Miesbach: Ampfing beats 1-0 in an exciting duel!
On Friday evening, the final whistle sounded for SV Miesbach in a game that probably has to be classified as a “tick off” category. The Miesbachers lost 0-1 against TSV Ampfing, which also ended the team's away streak. Coach Hans-Werner Grünwald said after the game that the result was justified based on the first half. Four games, six points – Miesbach is currently languishing in midfield in the East District League.
The game got off to a rather botched start for the Miesbach team. Already in the 11th minute they had to accept the first goal thanks to a deflected long-range shot from Steppan. Ampfing showed a solid performance from the start and was in control of the game despite a slight increase in chances. In the first half there were also discussions about a missed penalty decision for Miesbach. Josef Sontheim was fouled in the penalty area, but referee Alexander Petzke decided on a yellow card for a swallow.
There is no compensation
In the second half, however, SV Miesbach turned up the heat and appeared much more aggressive. Substitute Benjamin Kram had the best opportunity to equalize, but was denied by the Ampfing goalkeeper. The team will remember the lack of opportunity utilization for a long time, especially before the upcoming derby against TuS Holzkirchen.
The game statistics speak for themselves:

Who is ultimately affected?
What is left to say after this game? Miesbach has the flexibility to no longer be in last place in the first four games, but the players have to improve enormously in the next games in order not to lose touch. The aforementioned four points from the first games leave no room for stagnation. The pressure will increase, especially with the derby just around the corner.
Other teams in the league haven't slept in the last few weeks either. The competition is high and every point counts. Miesbach should quickly repair the gap and get back on track to victory. This will be the motto for the upcoming game against Holzkirchen, where we particularly want to show that we can learn from mistakes.
The fans who were in the stadium on Friday evening were optimistic despite the defeat and are hoping for a change for the better soon. Because even if football can sometimes be brutal, the hope for a positive trend is always anchored in the hearts of the supporters.
