Clear debacle for Sportbund Rosenheim: Miesbach scores 8 goals!

A football festival in Miesbach - that's what SV Miesbach was able to experience on August 10, 2025, when the sports association DJK Rosenheim was sent home 8-0. After a bumpy start to the season, the sports association is now left empty-handed. Once again it was against the Miesbachers, who showed their offensive qualities right from the start.

The first surprise didn't take long to arrive: in the first minute of the game, Maximilian Wiedmann made it 1-0 for the hosts. After just 23 minutes, Josef Sontheim increased the score to 2-0 after an individual mistake from Rosenheim. Another blow to the neck followed shortly before half-time when Sean Erten made it 3-0 and the guests' disappointment was already palpable.

The second round

The fiasco for the sports association was to continue in the second half. Erten scored with a free kick in the 58th minute and made the Miesbachers celebrate. As a result, Sontheim was there twice and scored his hat trick in the 63rd and 72nd minutes, while Wiedmann also demonstrated his skills in the 76th and 80th minutes and increased the score to a brilliant 8-0. It was a shooting festival that coach Hans-Werner Grünwald noted with joy - the team acted lively and let the ball run until the last minute.

A look at SV Miesbach's line-up reveals the success story of the game: The offensive, consisting of Erten, Sontheim and Wiedmann, was too strong for the Rosenheim defense. Almost 100 spectators witnessed this spectacle and celebrated their team's clear victory.

The situation of the sports association

In contrast, the situation at the Rosenheim Sports Association is anything but rosy. After three matchdays they have zero points - with a goalless record of 0:8 against Miesbach. Coach Patrick Zimpfer left no doubt that the first half was weak and that the opponents took advantage of their chances. “After the 4-0 win, the resistance was broken,” said Zimpfer. The Rosenheimers were completely denied a yellow card in this game.

The next game for the sports association is coming soon: on August 9, 2025 it will be against Waldperlach. It remains to be seen whether they can finally score points there. In the meantime, there is only hope for a turnaround in the difficult season.
