EV Landshut is strengthening itself for the coming season with an interesting new addition. As Ice Hockey News reports, the 30-year-old is changing US striker Trevor Gooch from the Graz 99ers to the DEL2 club. The nimble striker thus occupies the fourth contingent position in the squad. Gooch, who was active in the multinational ICE Hockey League, left a lasting impression in Graz: He scored a strong 42 points in 54 games and was the team's second-best scorer.
Max Brandl, the sporting director of EV Landshut, is enthusiastic about the commitment. “Trevor Gooch has a strong scoring instinct and brings a lot of goal threat,” said Brandl. His international experience, which he gained in various leagues, including Italy, Denmark, Hungary and Slovenia, is also considered valuable for the team. Trevor Gooch began his career in the USA, where he played in the ECHL and NCAA.
