Münchnerau celebrates: district festival with fire brigade and family program!

On June 16, 2025, work is already being carried out on the upcoming district festival of the Künchneru Münchnerau fire truck of the Landshut volunteer fire brigade. This festival takes place on June 28 and 29, 2025 at the Münchnerau fire station and promises to become a real highlight in the region's events. The fire truck invites all citizens to come together and celebrate the community.

On Saturday, June 28th, the official opening starts at 5:00 p.m. The beer tapping by the patron and former mayor Hans Rampf, who takes place at 5:30 p.m. From 6:30 p.m. there will be an interesting demonstration of the TLF4000, followed by the award ceremony of the popular stick tournament at 8:00 p.m. In addition to these program items, a bar operation is also offered that will create a sociable mood.

The festival Sunday, June 29, comes up with a contemplative festival service for the deceased comrades of the fire truck at 10:30 a.m. From 11:45 a.m., guests can look forward to a tasty lunch, followed by coffee and cake at 1:00 p.m. In addition, the Prackl tournament will be held at 1:30 p.m., which will ensure tension and good mood.

There is an extensive program for the little visitors: face painting, a carrier slide and a district rally, organized by the children's and youth club, are very popular. A vehicle show with the HLF20, LF20 and TLF4000 is also presented, so that technology enthusiasts get their money's worth.

Nikolafest - another highlight in the city

As part of the diverse district events, the Nikolafest will also be celebrated on May 10, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in front of the AWO multi -generation house in Ludmillastraße. This event will be organized by the residents for the eighth time: inside the quarter as part of the federal-state program "Social City of Nikola". The city of Landshut is participating for the first time this year with a stand that introduces the most important urban planning projects of the past 25 years.

The Nikolafest offers numerous culinary delights and entertainment. With a colorful supporting program, among other things, the “Prima! City musicians” bring musical entertainment from various genres. The children are waiting for the bouncy castle, handicrafts and magic shows, while for the large information stands of various facilities point to the diverse commitment of the neighborhood.

Both events, the district festival in Münchnerau and the Nikolafest, impressively show how lively and warmly the city of Landshut is. The cooperation between different partners and the diverse program selection contribute to strengthening the neighborhood together and offer exciting experiences for every age group.
