In contrast, Tegernheim had to accept a bitter 1:5 defeat against Dingolfing, who held the reins for almost the entire season.

Risk of injury in football
The discussion about the risk of injury in football is omnipresent, especially after such a game influenced by the pitch conditions. An analysis of the risk of injury shows that the greatest dangers lurk particularly in the defensive and offensive central midfield due to the many ball actions and duels. Recent studies by the Regensburg University Hospital found that collisions in younger age groups in particular lead to injuries, while header injuries occur less frequently. In 126 U11 and U13 games, only four injury situations were recorded, although it is noticeable that collisions are more common causes of accidents than headers.
Such awareness of on-court safety is essential, especially when critical weather conditions could encourage rapid play or even a stoppage. Nevertheless, it remains to be hoped that the players will quickly recover from such a “mess” and continue to do their best to inspire the spectators in the national league.
