Intercultural playground festival: A festival of joy in Landsberg West!

Whether sun or rain, the intercultural playground festival in Landsberg West took the hearts of visitors by storm on Friday, July 11, 2025. Despite stormy weather and rain showers, there was a good mood on the playground, where numerous families and interested parties gathered. The event was organized by the integration officer of the city of Landsberg and aimed to promote coexistence between cultures.

The event offered a colorful program that left nothing to be desired. The city bard Erik Müller provided musical entertainment, while the talented dancers from the Payer dance school captivated the audience with an impressive performance. The drum group led by Pape Kane was particularly in demand, inviting visitors to join in with their rhythm. The little visitors also got their money's worth: They were able to take part in a djembe workshop and had access to a variety of crafts and games at the Minimax family meeting point and the Landsberg family oasis.

Diversity and community in focus

A highlight of the festival was certainly the dedicated stilt group Aurum, who thrilled the audience with their young stilt walkers in imaginative costumes. The Dao Center offered insights into body control and self-defense, which was not only exciting but also educational. For everyone who wanted to get creative, Happyday-WS workshops on soaps and bath salts were on the program.

The event was not only a feast for the senses, but also a valuable neighborhood activity that encouraged exchange and laughter together. The organizers, led by the integration officer from Landsberg, received a lot of praise for the successful organization and the variety of activities on offer. The many helpers and participants were warmly thanked for their efforts.

A successful get-together

The intercultural playground festival was a complete success and attracted all age groups. It was emphasized that the event was free and that all residents of the district, especially families with children, were encouraged to take part. Food and drinks that you brought with you found their place at the “meet and eat” on the picnic area, so that the communal atmosphere was strengthened even further.

With this festival, the city of Landsberg has once again proven that it has a good hand when it comes to promoting a sense of community. In times when togetherness is becoming increasingly important, such events are worth their weight in gold. It is hoped that similar events will be held in the future to further promote coexistence and cultural exchange.
