In the idyllic Sparkassengalerie in Haßfurt, the exhibition “Art from here” opened its gates on June 17, 2025. This creative discovery tour shows the work of 19 talented artists from the Haßberge district and invites all those interested in art until July 9, 2025 to experience the variety of art forms. The interest was already great at the vernissage on the opening day - a real sign of the lively art scene in the region.
The organizers, the cultural center of the Haßberge district office and the Sparkasse Schweinfurt-Haßberge, have put together a varied program. The exhibition includes various art forms such as acrylic and watercolor painting, bronze figures, upcycling art, wooden objects, model building, street calligraphy, ceramics and objects from natural materials. This creative range is intended to help form and promote a regional identity through art. District Administrator Wilhelm Schneider emphasized at the opening how important such events are for culture and the sense of community in the region. The artists
The participating artists include Anne Olbrich from Ebern and Gerd Kanz from Untermerzbach. But numerous other creative minds are also represented: Inge Hahn (Aidhausen-Friesenhausen), Jannina Hector and Melina Müller (both Hofheim), Susanne Becker (Hofheim), Christine Welsch, Janna Liebender-Folz, Kim and Peter Davey (all Haßfurt), Marianne Krug-Schütz (Zeil), Hannelore and Roman (Ebelsbach) and Birgit Bromme, Stefanie Schmitt, Hannes Betz and Werner Tögel (all Knetzgau-Westheim). Adelbert Heil from Oberaurach-Kirchhaich and Ryszard Opalinski from Eltmann also contribute to the variety of exhibition with their work. The exhibition is accessible Monday to Friday during the opening hours of the Sparkasse customer center. There is a special opportunity to experience the works of art on July 6, 2025, the day of the Franks, on which the gallery will also be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you want to experience what is happening in the gallery again, you can look forward to the next few days, in which many exciting encounters will surely take place between art and audience.
