Haßberger Spieltage 2026: gaming experience for the whole family!
On March 12, 2026 the time has finally come: the 14th Haßberg match days begin in the sports and cultural center in Obertheres. Organized by Haßberge district youth group and the Theres administrative community, this event promises to conquer the hearts of children, young people, families and game fans of all ages. In a pre-Christmas gaming paradise, visitors will find over 1,400 different board and card games, including everything from simple children's games to challenging strategy games.
What makes the Haßberg match days special? Entry is completely free and the organizers pride themselves on appealing to a wide audience. In addition to the large selection of games, there are numerous manufacturers and specialist retailers who are on site and offer interesting offers. Information about the program items can be found on the website www.hassberger-spieletage.de.
Looking for committed helpers
The Haßberge district youth group has launched a call and is looking for volunteer game explainers who can help during the events. Anyone who has a good hand and enjoys explaining game mechanics can get involved flexibly. Anyone interested should register at spieletage@kjr-has.de.
The Haßberger Spieltage are not only a great opportunity to discover new games, but also a place where community and inclusion are very important. Similar to the inclusive tent camp offered by Haßberge district youth group and Lebenshilfe Haßberge e.V., everyone should have the opportunity to play and learn together. At the camp, 46 children with and without disabilities took part in creative workshops and exciting activities to promote inclusion in leisure activities.
Inclusion on match days
Inclusion and participation are central topics in youth and social work that have come into greater focus in recent years. The need for offerings that appeal to all young people – regardless of whether they have disabilities or not – is high. The experiences from planning and implementing the camp show how important it is to create shared experiences that benefit everyone involved. The upcoming Haßberg match days will also pursue this inclusive approach.
The event in Obertheres will not only be a celebration for gaming enthusiasts, but also a place of community and togetherness. Spend a few days full of fun and company and discover what the world of board and card games has to offer! Be there – from March 12th to 15th, 2026!
