Large flea market in the Zenja multi-generational house: hunt for bargains!
In charming Germering, the organizers have worked hard to set up a special flea market in the “Zenja” multi-generational house. On Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Planegger Straße 9 will be a hotspot for bargain hunters of all ages. The Arbeiterwohlfahrt, the Germering social service as well as the city of Germering and the Office for Youth, Family, Senior Citizens, Social Affairs and Schools invite all curious people to browse the colorful stands for rarities and curiosities. As the South Germans reports, the offering ranges from dishes to clothing and children's things to all sorts of treasures that are just waiting to find a new owner.
The physical well-being of the visitors is also taken care of. Café Zenja offers a tempting selection of hearty dishes, bakery delicacies and a wide range of drinks, both hot and cold. A real treat that makes browsing even more enjoyable!
A market for young and old
What makes the flea market particularly exciting is its idea of a children's flea market - here the little sellers can set up their own stands to offer their treasures. This is organized by the city of Germering, and the children are assigned a fixed place. Parents simply bring tables and blankets with them, everything else is taken care of on site. However, if you want to take part with your little ones, you must register in advance. This is possible either by telephone at 089/894 19-224 or later by email to socials@germering.de, like this Germeringer city website supplemented.
As far as registration is concerned, those interested should hurry up: only registered stands will be admitted, and there is still space for remaining adult places.
A contribution to the community
It is important to mention that the proceeds from the flea market benefit social projects run by the owners of the “Zenja” multi-generational house. Every purchase not only buys a new favorite item, but also supports valuable offers for the community. In addition, games for children are offered by the family support center under the direction of Ms. Deckert, which provides additional fun.
This initiative shows that a flea market is not only an opportunity to sell and buy things, but also makes an important contribution to strengthening social connections within the city.
So if you're looking for a lovely Saturday to browse to your heart's content, mark June 28th on your calendar and take the chance to be part of this lively event. Whether browsing, snacking or simply enjoying meeting neighbors and friends – everyone will find something suitable here!
