In an interview, pool manager Alexander Frederking comments with surprise and joy about this award. The outdoor pool season officially started on May 10th and the entire outdoor pool area has been open since Father's Day. The popularity of the outdoor pool seems to be unbroken; In Germany, 29 % of people plan to spend their vacation in their own country. So it is no wonder that swimming pools are becoming more and more in focus. According to the current spa atlas, there are over 3,000 bathing areas in Germany, including 2,416 pure outdoor pools and 401 combined wheels.
