Trainer in Neunkirchen: License successfully extended!

14 motivated participants gathered in a lively training course to extend the instructor license on October 25, 2025 at the Neunkirchen am Brand elementary school. The BLSV district chairman Edmund Mauser did not miss the opportunity to warmly welcome the trainers and thank them for their commitment. The event once again highlighted the outstanding role of trainers as the backbone of the clubs.

The training offered a varied program that included four creative and movement-promoting topics. Under the expert guidance of experts, the participants not only learned new exercises, but were also able to try them out and adapt them for their work in clubs and schools.

Diverse topics and committed speakers

The speaker Silvia Richter led the topic “Variations with the Hula Hoop”, which included exercises to promote coordination and a sense of rhythm. A diverse range of training options that has become very popular with fitness enthusiasts in recent years. If you consider that Hula Hoop Fitness is considered an effective training device for varied workouts, a valuable building block for the development of trainers has certainly been laid here. The topic continued with the topic “Karate makes you happy”, presented by Arne Schell, who gave insights into the martial art and discussed how to strengthen discipline and self-confidence.

During activating yoga, led by Heinz Richter, the participants were able to train their body awareness and experience relaxation through targeted exercises. The main theme of laughter was also taken into account: Sandra Richter-Nicolosi introduced the group to the topic of “laughter wellness”, which highlighted the positive effect of laughter on the body and mind. This diversity was well received by the participants - their enthusiasm for the high practical component and the collegial atmosphere was clearly noticeable.

Licenses successfully extended

Finally, all 14 trainers can look back proudly on completing their further training as they have successfully extended their license. At the crowning conclusion, Sandra Richter-Nicolosi, the deputy BLSV district chairwoman, thanked the lecturers and the course management for their valuable support.

The importance of training in areas such as hula hoop is also reflected in the further training courses in places such as Bergisch Gladbach and Frankfurt, where aspiring hula hoop trainers can take their first steps. The courses cover theoretical basics as well as practical implementation options in order to optimally prepare trainers for their tasks. Information about training to become a hula hoop workout instructor and its content can be found on the [DTB Academy] website (https://www.dtb-akademie.de/dtb/bildung-groupfitness/instructor-weiterbildungen/hula-hoop-workout-instructor).

In addition, the Elli Hoop Academy offers training formats that include both theory and practice and give participants the opportunity to become part of a lively trainer community. Here, those interested not only learn everything about the technology of the hula hoop, but can also prepare for the promising organization and marketing of their own courses.

The training in Neunkirchen am Brand has once again proven how important continuous training is for trainers in order to have a positive influence on the community and club culture. And maybe the hula hoop is exactly the training that not only gets the body but also the mind moving.
