Rotary Club Höchstadt: 3500 euros for hospice and swimming lessons!
In picturesque Weingartsgreuth, the Rotary Club Höchstadt was able to raise an impressive sum of almost 3,500 euros by selling chocolate at the “Fascination Garden” event last weekend. The joy of this success couldn't be greater, because all of the proceeds go to the Höchstadt Hospice Association and the Don Bosco School NN.de reported.
The chairman of the hospice association, Hans-Joachim Laugwitz, left no doubt about how important the contribution is for the organization. “This donation will help us to support the training and further education of our hospice helpers,” he explained gratefully. This valuable voluntary work cannot be maintained without such financial support.
Swimming lessons for the future
Don Bosco School will use the grant to further expand its swimming lessons. This activity is particularly important for students to learn vital life skills while encouraging their enjoyment of the water. Judith Gundalach, the school's vice-principal, warmly thanked the Rotary Club for its support and emphasized the crucial role that swimming lessons play in the children's development.
Markus Kühlwein, the main organizer of the chocolate event, was more than satisfied with how the event went. “It is the fifth time we have held this event and the response has been fantastic,” says Kühlwein happily. The event is to be repeated this year. The managing director of Wawi Innovation initially announced that preparations are in full swing.
Rotary community engagement
