Möhrendorf enthusiastic: a garden full of adventure in kindergarten!

In the St. Elisabeth kindergarten in Möhrendorf, a lot is happening! A new natural area was created here, which not only promotes the game of the children, but also becomes a place of experience and learning. Around 250 hours of volunteer work were invested in the project, which shows how committed parents, educators and the community are behind this initiative. The project emerged from the idea of a nature -loving mother and experienced grandparents, who, together with the parents' advisory board and the teachers, developed a concept for implementation. The municipality of Möhrendorf actively supported, and Mayor Thomas Fischer was very cooperative in his openness to the initiative. The building yard even helped the earthworks, while the Obimarkt donated mulch for the crib garden in Kurt-Schumacher-Straße.

The new garden shines with a variety of play and experience areas. There is something for every little adventurer with grazing tipis, snack beds full of fruity currants, colorful fence slats and a large mud facility. The pasture tipis not only offer retreats, but also stimulate the children's game, as well as for many as a place of calm and relaxation. Claudia F., a nanny, emphasizes the diversity of the playing opportunities: "Every child can live out their own ideas here!"

a paradise for small explorers

According to Simon, one of the educators, the versatility of the garden really makes the difference. In addition to fruit trees, vegetable beds for prospective gardeners, the children also find two soccer fields and tree houses that invite you to play hide -and -seek. So it is no wonder that a 9-year-old girl loves climbing up the climbing wall while a 7-year-old girl uses the big tree house for her games. And an 8-year-old boy has already found his place-when playing football, he is in his element!

"Nature really comes to light here," explains Daniela L., also a nanny. The children are enthusiastic and enjoy the opportunity to play outdoors and experience the environment up close. The large tree house, the many different vehicles and the mud system are true highlights that are shining in the little worries.

The St. Elisabeth kindergarten has developed into a contact point for many parents who have recognized the importance of natural development funding for their children. The project impressively shows how positive changes can be caused by shaping and commitment in the community.
