Christmas spirit is in the air in Höchstadt! The 27th Höchstadt Christmas market was officially opened on December 7th, 2025. The Christ Child himself was there and invited visitors from near and far to enjoy the festive hustle and bustle. Beautifully decorated stands, festive music and an extensive program promise atmospheric days until December 14, 2025.
The market started with a big ceremony on Friday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m. Nicholas and Knecht Ruprecht delighted the little guests on Saturday, December 6th at 5:00 p.m. and brought even more Christmas joy with them.
Diverse opening times and offers
The gates to the Christmas market are open all day long and give visitors a glimpse of a colorful selection. Here is an overview of the opening times:
- Freitag, 05.12.: 16:00 – 22:00 Uhr
- Samstag, 06.12.: 15:00 – 22:00 Uhr
- Sonntag, 07.12.: 15:00 – 21:00 Uhr
- Montag bis Donnerstag: 16:00 – 21:00 Uhr
- Freitag, 12.12.: 16:00 – 22:00 Uhr
- Samstag, 13.12.: 15:00 – 22:00 Uhr
- Marktsonntag, 14.12.: 11:30 – 21:00 Uhr
A particular highlight of the market will be the historical camp in the town hall courtyard on December 13th, organized by the Historische Stadtwache Franken e.V. Weapon stands, open fire pits, children's games and culinary delicacies await visitors here.
