Erding celebrates tradition: New calendar treasure with historical images!
Something is happening in Erding! The museum calendar for 2026 is now on sale and promises lots of historical views under the title “Erding on the move – mobility in historical photos”. This edition is being published by Museum Erding for the fourth time and Mayor Max Gotz described the publication as “almost a small tradition”. The calendar gives an exciting insight into city life between 1860 and 1960.
The images present diverse aspects of mobility - be it on foot, with horse-drawn carts, bicycles, motorcycles or automobiles. The topics depicted include the Erding Velocipede Club, a motorcycle club and various city services such as garbage collection and post office. With four images that were animated by museum employee Thomas Schöberl using artificial intelligence, a modern touch comes into play: historical scenes shine in new splendor.
A look at the details
The calendar has the practical DIN A3 format and is offered in a limited edition of only 300 copies. A special highlight is the QR code on the back: This allows access to exciting short films that bring the illustrations to life. Priced at 20 euros, this is a great opportunity to purchase a piece of Erdinger's history. The calendar is available at various points of sale:
- Museum Erding, Prielmayerstraße 1 (Dienstag bis Sonntag von 13 bis 17 Uhr)
- LeseGlück, Heilig-Geist-Hof 3
- Hugendubel, Bräuhausgasse 6
- Thalia, Lange Zeile 26
- Buchhandlung Rupprecht, Pretzener Straße 10
Away from historical recordings and towards a contemporary topic: companies that work with sensitive data are increasingly confronted with the requirements of SOC 2 compliance. This compliance solution is particularly important for companies that want to gain the trust of customers and stakeholders. Vanta SOC 2 to achieve SOC 2 compliance features an automated process that not only simplifies the implementation of required controls but also enables their continuous monitoring. This is particularly important at a time when data breaches are increasing rapidly, as recent statistics show.
SOC 2 consists of five trust service categories: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. An audited SOC 2 report is not only helpful in demonstrating compliance with these standards, but can also drive sales and serve as a sign of security commitment to customers. Beyond the exam, in many cases it is also a requirement for doing business with certain customers. Companies that can achieve and demonstrate SOC 2 have a good hand in this.
Overall, the current developments in the museum and in the area of corporate compliance create an exciting tension between tradition and modernity in our region. While Erding celebrates its history in a well-presented manner with the new calendar, the importance of data management and security in today's business world ensures that we will continue to be "on the move" in the future - whether through historical recordings or through the latest technologies.
