On Monday, June 16, at 3 p.m., a sustainable art project in the Wiesengässchen, initiated by the Fairtrade control group of the city of Eichstätt, starts in cooperation with the art education at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU). The idea behind it: an artistic examination of the 17 goals for sustainable development (SDGS) of the United Nations. It is about transforming a gray wall into a bright work of art that not only delights the eyes, but also raises awareness of sustainable development.

The art students have put their way around and developed great designs in consultation with local partners and with the help of generative AI. The 51 -meter -long wall area is divided into three meters of sections, so that each sustainability goal receives its own area. There are a total of six painting dates available that will run over the coming weeks: The next meetings will take place on June 23, June 30, July 7, July 14 and 21, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The population is also cordially invited to participate!
