Young talents provide festive sound in the Eichstätter Cathedral!

Eichstätt, Deutschland - In the heart of Eichstätt, the Department of Church Music on July 5 A festive concert at the 14 pupils of the diocesan church music training made the impressive cathedral organ sound. The event represented the crowning glory of an educational semester and offered the young talents a stage to demonstrate their skills.

The concert included a varied program with organ works from four centuries - from the timeless classics to rarely belonging. The diocesan church music training offers comprehensive training in the areas of organ play, choir management, music theory and liturgy. There are perspectives for everyone: whether in the C-course that enables a deeper qualification for organists and choir directors, or in basic organ lessons for those interested. The next entrance exams will be on September 27th, and anyone who has a good hand for music can register. The prerequisites are basic knowledge of the key instrument and possibly a good singing voice.
