Traffic chaos in Teisbach: Broadband construction work starts on Monday!
Things are getting a bit tight on the streets in Teisbach at the moment: starting today, October 27, 2025, work will begin on laying a new broadband line in Brückenstraße. The construction site extends from the “mini roundabout” to the end of the town in the direction of the Isar Bridge. Road users will have to prepare for traffic disruptions in the coming weeks that will certainly not be overlooked.
For the construction work, traffic from the direction of Isarbrücke will be temporarily redirected via Erlenweg to the DGF 1 district road. However, passengers traveling from the roundabout towards the Isar Bridge can pass through half of the construction site area. As soon as the construction site is relocated, a construction site light is used to better regulate traffic. In the straight area towards the Isar Bridge there will initially be a normal half-way closure without traffic lights.
Sources of information and current information
Sarah Müller, the press spokeswoman for the municipality of Teisbach, emphasizes the importance of this construction work: “We are aware of the inconvenience for residents and road users and thank you for your understanding during the construction period.” In order to provide citizens with the best possible information, a traffic report was also published via the BIWAPP warning app. This system was already used during the full closure in the Dingolfing-Landau district on October 24, 2025, in order to inform residents in good time.
The information collected by Dingolfing-Landau and [news.de]. The construction project is expected to last until November 28, 2025.
Importance of broadband expansion
A look beyond the chaos of the route shows how important this expansion is for the community. Broadband expansion not only brings faster Internet connections for citizens, but also an improvement in the overall digital infrastructure. The federal government supports such projects with subsidies, so that the financial burden is somewhat easier to bear. Interested municipalities can contact the Bundesnetzagentur to find out more about the support options.
In conclusion, all that remains to be said is: Even if the diversions and waiting times may be annoying, the goal is to become more future-proof and more efficient. And when the construction work is successfully completed, we all benefit from it.
