What could be more beautiful than cycling through the Bavarian landscape in bright sunshine? This was exactly what around 30 cyclists thought, who recently participated in the "Cycling with the Mayor" event, organized by the free voters Moos. The mayor Alexander Zacher, who has been at the top of the community since 2020, led the group on a chapel tour around moss.

The participants were different ages and had gathered to explore the impressive architecture and the story of seven of nine chapels in the municipal area. Zacher, who was instrumental in the new building of the old Schlafkapelle, informed the cyclists about the land consolidation chapel in Forstern and the Old Schauflkapelle, which represent an important part of the region's cultural heritage.

The chapels are not only architectural masterpieces, but also places of reflection and rest. The initiative of the Siegfried and Elfriede Denzel Foundation emphasizes that each of these chapels is thanks to a renowned architect. The tour not only has historical, but also scenic relevance; Along the way, cyclists get a look at the picturesque small towns of Wertingen and Gundelfingen and the monastery complex Maria Medingen.

The circular route was specially designed to invite cyclists into a short break and to enjoy nature to the fullest. You can not only visit the beautiful chapels, but also use Kneipp systems and swimming lakes to cool off on hot days.

The free voters Moos have celebrated significant success since its foundation in 2020 by gaining a council seat. They are currently presenting six municipal councils and Alexander Zacher, the 1st mayor, who is also a member of various committees, including the construction and environmental committee and the school association Moos-Thundorf.
