New gastronomy age: Lisa Marie opens in Coburg!

What a new shine in Steingasse! From July 1, 2025, the restaurant, which was previously known under the name "1627", will experience a fresh redesign. Lisa Knorr, who comes from a traditional gastronomy family, takes over the management of Louis Sommer, who has not been in operation since April. With his experience, summer shaped the restaurant for more than a decade, but now a change happens that causes excitement in the region.

The restaurant itself, a former supply house for the neighboring Ehrenburg, celebrated its opening on November 6, 2014. The name "1627" refers to the building date of the house, which is now opening a new chapter. From July 1st, the restaurant will operate under the name "Lisa Marie - Living & Moments" and present itself with an innovative concept. Knorr has also revealed that the project includes a restaurant and two apartments - a perfect combination of culinary delights and accommodation.

"I look forward to setting new accents and offering our guests an unforgettable experience," explains Lisa Knorr. As head of the Alte Mühle in Oberwohlsbach, she brings valuable experience to Steingasse. Another advantage: René, who was already a chef in the old restaurant, also remains on board in the new "Lisa Marie". So he brings his skills and creativity into the redesigned kitchen - this promises delicious surprises for the guests. In addition, all open vouchers will continue to be valid in the new restaurant by December 31, 2025, which is a welcome message for many loyal guests.
