In Bavaria, electric vehicles have been allowed to park in public parking spaces for up to three hours free of charge since April 1, 2025, and this ensures a fresh air in the automotive industry. Numerous cities, including Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg and Regensburg, are already moving in the same direction. In this context, the Pro Coburg electoral community hit the table vigorously and demands that Coburg also implement this regulation comprehensively. Unfortunately, parking garages such as the Anger or Globe fall under the chargeable regulations, which reduces the incentives for electric drivers here. Nevertheless, Coburg is acted as a future -oriented, climate -conscious community that has been committed to want to get involved.
