Tragedy in Höhenkirchen: S-Bahn captivates woman at the transition!

On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, a tragic misfortune occurred in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn when a 59-year-old woman was hit by an approaching S-Bahn at an unrestricted railway crossing near the Wächterhof S-Bahn station. While she crossed the transition with a bike, there was a serious impact that fatally injured the woman. Fortunately, there were no other injuries among the approximately 200 passengers in the S-Bahn.

After the terrible incident, the train was cleared, and the tracks remained closed for around two and a half hours, while the Munich traffic police started the investigation. The circumstances of the accident are now being examined more closely to find out what exactly led to this tragic event.
