Serious accident in Eibach: 71-year-olds recorded and injured by truck

On Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025, there was a serious accident between a truck and a 71-year-old pedestrian in the Eibach district of Nuremberg. The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. when the truck drove the Eibacher Hauptstraße towards Reichelsdorf and was only able to drive a stus due to a backlog. Suddenly the older lady stepped onto the road to cross it, and was caught and partially overwhelmed by the vehicle under unexplained circumstances.

The pedestrian suffered serious but not life -threatening injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital. The Nuremberg traffic police are now investigating to determine the exact course of the accident. The Eibacher Hauptstraße was closed in both directions until around 11:00 a.m.
