Knife attack in Altendorf: 17-year-old fights for his life!

In the small town of Altendorf, on Saturday evening, June 21, 2025, there was a shocking incident among young people, in which a 17-year-old was seriously injured. During a leisure measure, in which around 20 young people from Lower Bavaria had participated since Thursday, an argument escalated. A 21-year-old man is said to have stabbed the teenager with a knife, which led to a critical injury. Two other people, a 22-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, were slightly injured, while a 20-year-old was taken to the hospital due to a psychogenic shock.

The police moved out with several patrol cars to control the situation, and the crime service service immediately took up the investigation. When securing evidence, the officials found a suspected crime knife nearby. The 21-year-old was taken into custody on Sunday, June 22, 2025 for attempted manslaughter and murder. Further blood withdrawals among participants have already been ordered, while the investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident continues. The condition of the seriously injured adolescent remains critical.
