Collision in Geisenhausen: Motorcyclist dies in the event of a serious accident!

On Thursday, June 19, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred at 10:42 a.m. in the Geisenhausen community area. A 43-year-old VW driver overlooked a 51-year-old motorcyclist who was entitled to travel at the confluence with Landshuter Strasse, who came from the federal road on his Yamaha. The collision was so violent that the motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident despite intensive attempts at resuscitation by first aiders and the rescue helicopter team.

The total damage to the vehicles amounts to around 6000 euros. While the car was still ready to drive, the motorcycle was removed from a towing service. The accident area was closed for several hours, while the Geisenhausen fire brigade carried out security measures and road closures. At 1:45 p.m. the road was released for traffic again, but due to leakage gasoline, an additional warning had to be set up in the corner area.
