Big fire on construction site: Hanauer Straße closed for hours!

On Monday evening, June 30, 2025, a passerby alerted the fire brigade around 6:30 p.m. after noticing black smoke from a construction site on Hanauer Strasse. When the emergency services arrived, the fire was confirmed on the top floor of a new building. There were several gas bottles on site that made the fire dangerous. Thanks to the courageous use of the fire brigade, the fire could be deleted without injuries.

The property damage amounts to several ten thousand euros. In order to ensure the extinguishing work, the Hanauer and Dachauer Straße were blocked for about an hour, which led to significant traffic disruptions. The cause of the fire is now examined by Commissioner 13.
