In the night of Monday, July 14, 2025, a violent attack shook Colmberg! At 3:40 a.m., an ATM from the Sparkasse was blown up with explosives. The act occurred on the market 7, but fortunately the branch and the surrounding buildings remained intact - nobody was injured. The perpetrators who fled in a dark vehicle are previously unknown.

The Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (BlKA) has taken over the investigation and will analyze the explosives used in the forensic institute in Munich in the coming days. The authority calls on the population for help: Who saw suspicious people or vehicles around Colmberg on the night? Information can be reported directly to the BlKA on 089/1212 - 0 or at any other police station.
