Bloody examination in Neuötting: 64-year-old dies according to knife attack

In early Monday morning, June 23, 2025, there was a bloody dispute between two men in an apartment in Neuötting. A 64-year-old man was injured so badly that he died at the scene. The alleged perpetrator, a 51-year-old, was quickly arrested after he had fled in an unknown direction after the incident.

Both men are Polish citizens. The criminal police in Mühldorf am Inn has taken over the investigation on suspicion of a homicide, while the Traunstein public prosecutor's office made a request for prison against the suspect. This will soon be demonstrated to the investigative judge in order to decide on his further detention. The exact course of the crime is still unclear and part of the ongoing investigation.
