Million dollar project in Hollfeld: renovation of the sewer system starts now!
Significant changes are coming to the city of Hollfeld: The comprehensive renovation of the sewer system was presented at the last city council meeting. The commissioned planning office presented the next steps for this million-dollar project, which is intended to significantly improve the infrastructure of the small town. [Kurier] reports that this measure is being pushed forward at full speed in order to adapt the canal system to today's requirements.
While the course for the future is being set in Hollfeld, Caritas in Bayreuth is also starting its autumn campaign. This initiative aims to draw attention to the extensive offers of help and to attract support and donations. The campaign received special support from well-known personalities who got involved in the market square and set an example for the community. [Courier]

Another topic at the meeting was the already decided renovation of the Regenbogen kindergarten, for which contracts worth around €467,295.21 were awarded. Such investments make it clear that the community attaches great importance to supporting educational institutions. In addition, the land-use planning for “Am Schmelzgraben” was also pushed forward: the various statements were weighed up, and the drafts and environmental reports are now available for public display. Construction projects and infrastructure
The infrastructure will also be further improved in other areas, such as the water supply in Ramsenthal. The plan is to connect to the Upper Franconian long-distance water supply, which will require the construction of a new connecting pipeline. This construction project is scheduled to be implemented at the beginning of October 2025 and will secure the drinking water supply for citizens. The interlinking of tradition and progress is also evident in the planned sewer renovation on Bayreuther Straße: Structural damage has occurred here, which will require extensive renovation with a complete closure of the street for three weeks. The construction agenda is rounded off by the renovation of the municipal roads St.-Georgen-Straße and Leuschnitzstraße as well as ensuring transport connections. Further developments, such as the bridge renovation on Bahnhofstrasse and the improvement of the escape situation at the Spielkreis Ramsenthal daycare center, illustrate the local council's commitment to the safety and quality of life of its citizens.
