Bayreuth celebrates: Citizens' Festival 2025 with music, art and culinary delights!

A highlight in the event year is just around the corner: the Bayreuth Bürgerfest 2025, a true festival of diversity and coexistence, takes place in the city center of Bayreuth. From Friday, July 4th to Sunday, July 6th, visitors can dive into a world of music, culinary and culture. And the best thing about it? Admission is completely free!

A total of 16 stages are played on which over 60 artists from various music styles appear. From rock and pop to jazz to electric and brass - there is something for every taste of music. Embedded in the motto "50 years of the University of Bayreuth", the students will design the program on the main stage on the depot, which can come up with live acts, dance and interactive formats. On Sunday, visitors can expect an artist market in the Ranzleistrasse that presents regional art and design.

Culinary diversity and hands -on activities

The participants of the citizens' festival can look forward to over 100 stands that have a tasty selection of street food and creative specialties. The little guests are also taken care of: in addition to hands -on activities, there are exciting programs that will inspire the whole family. A special attraction will be the wine stand from the Burgenland partner region, which comes up with culinary delights and live music in the courtyard of the Historical Museum.

The official opening on Friday with the Symphony Orchestra, the Unichor and a performance by the band Steel Wine is one of the program highlights. On Saturday, dance shows, big bands and the "Night of the Profs" are on the plan, during Sunday with a "Family Church", science lectures and a big band Ensemble. Various music acts ensure entertainment on the Sparkasse Bayreuth stage on the tree hall and at the Fabrik Bühne am Ehrenhof.
