A dangerous incident occurred on the street in the Bad Kissingen area on Friday evening, November 28, 2025, which caused a great stir. A reckless driver followed a Bavarian Red Cross ambulance that was on an urgent emergency trip to Oerlenbach with flashing lights and a siren. The police have now launched a search for the driver of the black BMW involved.

The BMW, which was driving behind the emergency vehicle and turned on the hazard lights, followed the ambulance and also ran two red lights, including one at the intersection with Kissinger Strasse. According to police investigations, the driver drove so close that the ambulance eventually had to stop on the right side of the road to make room for the BMW.

After overtaking, the BMW continued driving towards Oerlenbach at excessive speed. These reckless maneuvers are not only dangerous for the emergency services, but also for all other road users. The police are now asking for information from witnesses or other injured road users in order to identify the driver responsible.
