Experience the fascinating Museum Night in Aschaffenburg!

On July 5, 2025, Aschaffenburg will become a vibrant center of art and culture when the Museum night as part of the Aschaffenburg Cultural Days takes place. From 7:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., the city museums and the Pompejanum will open their doors and invite all art lovers to experience the local cultural scene up close.

An absolute must are the many private exhibitions, galleries and studios that open their doors on Museum Night. Visitors can look forward to guided tours and exciting supporting programs at a wide variety of exhibition locations. A special highlight will be the art installation “The Herd of Mechanical Beings”, which consists of recycled bicycles and will be shown in the castle courtyard. Here it becomes clear how art and environmental awareness merge and stimulate creativity.

A colorful program for everyone

The Aschaffenburg Cultural Days From June 26th to July 6th, 2025, the theme will be “Transformation – Changing Society”. Around a hundred individual events promise a wide range of experiences, including open studios, workshops, stage performances, performances and programs for children and families. An open-air cinema and a variety of lectures and readings round off the offering.

The admission prices for the Museum Night are fair: tickets are available from just 5 euros. Children up to and including 14 years of age also have free entry. There are discounts for schoolchildren, students and people with disabilities. The best part? With the ticket you not only have access to all events, but you can also travel there and back in the VAB area for free. Tickets are available at ticket offices, at the tourist information office on Schlossplatz and via the festivalAB app.

Art in many facets

This year the nearby one will also be Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt, which will take place from November 3rd to 6th, 2022. Here, around 120 exhibitors present a variety of artistic positions, from painting to photographic art to mixed media works. Such a variety of works of art illustrates the relevance of cultural events in the region.
