Organ music in Amberg: 14th season with international stars starts!

The organ music in Amberg has season again! On July 5, 2025, the 14th edition of the Amberg organ music series begins in the school church Amberg. The concert series is very popular and is an integral part of the cultural landscape in the region. Every Saturday at 12 noon, visitors are invited to enjoy 30 minutes of beautiful organ music, while the hustle and bustle of everyday life is forgotten for a brief moment. This also explains the motto of the series: "Stop for a moment and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at 30 minutes of organ music in the school church".

The opening event becomes very special: On the first Saturday, Thomas Prechtl and Anna Doering play on two clarinets and Vinzenz Doering on the organ works by great composers such as Bach, Mozart, Dvořák, Mangani and Lefébure-Wély. The concert series comprises a total of 12 events that take place by September 20. Amberg has treated itself to a real treat for the opening event.
