Benefit concert Summer Lights”: Musical help for needy Weiden residents!

A very special benefit concert entitled “Summer Lights” will take place in the Max Reger Hall in Weiden on July 13th. Organized by the Adventslicht relief organization, the event promises musical delights and a noble mission. The Upper Palatinate Echo reports on a performance by the renowned Adamar Trio, consisting of Hedwig Maria Pohl (violin), Martin Pohl (cello) and Michael Sachs (piano). The program includes works by Dmitri Shostakovich and Franz Schubert.

All proceeds from the concert go to the “Advent Light Feeding” project, which offers people in need in the region a free, warm lunch over the winter months. This offer is aimed particularly at single, older and troubled citizens from Weiden and the surrounding area Advent light willow.

A good reason to listen

With a ticket price of 10 euros, it is possible for many to take part in this important event. Tickets are available via ok-Ticket, by calling Medienhaus Spintler on 0961/471120 or at the box office. The importance of the Advent Light Café is also highlighted, where encounters and friendships can arise - a place of community and support.

The patron of the evening, Mayor Jens Meyer, will also be present to thank the artists and the dedicated team. This event is not only an opportunity for musical joy, but also an important initiative to promote integration and acceptance in society. The aid organization not only advocates for full stomachs, but also accompanies those in need on their journey and supports them in remaining socially integrated.

The tradition of benefit concerts

Benefit concerts have a long tradition in our region. Similar to the events organized by the Unionhilfswerk-Förderstiftung, which has been holding concerts for a good cause since 2007 to enable old people to live a dignified and self-determined life. These concerts also promote cultural participation for people in need of care and help to alleviate fears in the last phase of life, which once again underlines the importance of such events. Details about these benefit concerts can be found on the website Union aid organization.

The anticipation for the “Summer Lights” concert in Weiden is growing, and it is to be hoped that many supporters and music lovers will find their way to the Max Reger Hall. Together you can both experience musical enjoyment and make a significant contribution to supporting those in need in the region!
