The suspicion: An employee is said to have forged residence permits from 2021 to the end of 2023 and issued them without checking the legal requirements. Evidence of bribery and false certification was picked up by the criminal police in Memmingen.
The first irregularities were discovered in mid-December 2025. During the investigation, incriminating evidence came to light. The suspicion that the employee demanded something in return poses another problem. The Memmingen public prosecutor's office then requested a search of the suspect's workplace and apartment.

The Memmingen district court issued an arrest warrant against the employee, but it was suspended by the investigating judge. The criminal police took the employee into custody, while the district office immediately initiated labor law measures.
