On October 26, 2025, the ice stadium in the Pulverturm in Straubing will be the venue for a special event: the Straubing Tigers' Children's and Youth Day. The motto is “Little Tigers really big” and invites especially the youngest fans to experience an exciting day around the sport of ice hockey. With an exciting game between the Straubing Tigers and the Grizzlys Wolfsburg, the event promises both action and lots of fun for little sports enthusiasts.
Particularly noteworthy are the numerous activities offered for children and young people. In addition to the game, young fans can look forward to a photo opportunity with the mascot “Tigo”. Here you have the opportunity to take great souvenir photos. Face painting and a tattoo station provide additional entertainment and creative fun.
Break highlights and mini stadium announcers
A very special highlight takes place during the break in the game. The EHC Straubing U11 team will demonstrate their skills in an exciting half-time game. The kids also have the chance to act as mini stadium announcers! Anyone interested can apply by video until October 21, 2025, 12 p.m. – a unique opportunity to be right in the middle of the action.
The stadium announcer Peter Schnettler will accompany the event with his charming moderation and involve the audience. The ice rink will also be a meeting place for little tigers - numerous children are invited to appear in tiger costumes. This not only creates a colorful picture, but also creates the right mood!
Goodies and ticket prices
Physical well-being is also taken care of: the TIGO box special with nuggets, fries and soda awaits hungry sports fans at the sales stands. To make the whole thing even more accessible, the ticket prices have been made particularly affordable: children up to 14 years old only pay 3 euros, while young people between 15 and 17 years old can get a ticket for 9 euros.
