During Advent, the Straubing Advent calendar shows its best side. The popular raffle starts in 2025 with the motto “Whoever gives, wins” and promises to make citizens’ hearts beat faster. How idowa reported that there will be over 100 prizes with a total value of around 65,000 euros, which will be raffled off until Christmas Eve. All proceeds go to the “Joy Through Heroes” charity campaign, which takes care of people in need. A great reason to join in!
Everyone who buys a ticket has the chance to win great prizes that make you dream. Participation is very simple: For one euro you can purchase a completely filled ticket, which then has to be thrown into the lottery box at Theresienplatz. It is important that the tickets are submitted in good time by 6:30 p.m. on the day of the raffle. The daily prizes will be drawn at around 7 p.m. in the evening.
The daily winners
The first lucky winners were announced on December 1st. Among them:

- Wieser Karl-Heinz & Christina, Kirchroth
The main prize – a brand new Mazda CX30 Homura worth 34,000 euros – will be drawn on December 23rd, increasing the anticipation among participants. But that's not all, because the daily prizes consist of over 100 vouchers, each worth between 200 and 500 euros.
Conditions of participation and security
If you still want to take part, you should know that you have to sort the tickets into the lottery box on your own responsibility. If a ticket is sorted incorrectly or does not have a desired date, it will still take part in the daily raffle. To ensure the safety of participants, the lottery container at Theresienplatz is under video surveillance and the drawing takes place under legal supervision.
