Today, December 5th, 2025, a small accident occurred in Ostheim vor der Rhön, which brought the local police to the scene. According to a report by Osthessen News, an incident occurred at 6:55 a.m. in the “Unter der Bündt” in which a car was slightly scratched. The police are now looking for witnesses, especially the drivers of two large tractors with trailers that were driving from Mellrichstadt to Ostheim. Road safety in Bavaria has made encouraging progress in recent years.
