SSV Jahn Regensburg welcomes Adrian Fein: return to central midfield!

SSV Jahn Regensburg has brought a former player back on board and signed Adrian Fein for central midfield. The 26-year-old has signed a contract until June 30, 2026, as reported on the official club website of SSV Jahn. Fein was previously without a contract and had already trained with the team for a week as a trial player.

The Munich native is no stranger to Jahn Regensburg fans. He already played on loan for the club in the 2018/19 season, where he appeared in 21 second division games. After his first experience in Regensburg, several loan spells followed, including at Hamburger SV, PSV Eindhoven and SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He was most recently active at SV Waldhof Mannheim, where he played 21 games in the last third division season. Before returning to Jahn, he moved to Excelsior Rotterdam on a free transfer and then to SC Verl.

Positive voices from the club

Coach Michael Wimmer was enthusiastic about the return of his new protégé. “Good conversations, very good impression, but nothing concrete yet,” said Wimmer about Fein, who not only has a lot of experience but also already has a connection to SSV Jahn. Achim Beierlorzer, Sports Director, also emphasizes the positive aspects of the commitment and highlights the midfielder's qualities.

The return of Adrian Fein is an exciting topic for SSV fans. The club plans to have him as their twelfth new signing of the summer. Apart from the sporting aspects, the supporters are particularly excited to see how the squad will develop under the new composition. Adrian Fein brings a breath of fresh air and great expectations. SSV Jahn reports that there is a lot of movement in the team, which increases the anticipation for the coming season.

A reunion with old acquaintances

With his move back to SSV Jahn, Adrian Fein not only has the opportunity to develop further, but also to see old friends again. The connection he built during his first time at Jahn will help him gain a foothold in the team straight away. The positive experiences in Regensburg seem to have played a significant role in his decision to return.
